We are excited to offer Dumbbells & Diapers, a postpartum fitness class designed to help new mamas safely return to exercise, connect with other mums, and develop the strength that they need to support their growing babies. This is a one-hour class that focuses on postpartum appropriate fitness and includes time for socializing with other mums and their babies. Joanne Fourie, is an endorsed BIRTHFIT coach, providing a supportive environment and is appropriate for mums with or without previous gym experience. Classes are open to mamas of all fitness levels and their pre-walking babies. This program is offered to help create a dedicated time and place for mums to work on their fitness and wellness. As a mom, I understand how difficult it can be to dedicate time for yourself and your own personal health and fitness. This program is designed to help you set aside time without having to find childcare or a babysitter. All movements will be designed to accommodate those who need to hold their child, want to add weights or simply get their body moving. If you want to safely return to fitness postpartum, learn to repair and strengthen your core/ pelvic floor, meet other moms interested in health and wellness, feel stronger, workouts for all ability levels, feel better, and improve your energy levels, this class is for you!
